Platform professional vehicle borne millimeter wave radar provider

The Chuhang Technology self-developed 77GHz millimeter-wave radar consists of theISO26262 ASIL B compliant millimeter-wave radar chip and digital signal processing chip set, the transmit & receive antenna array deployed on the high-performance RF PCB integrated with the millimeter-wave radar chip, the automotive-compatible MCU with powerful processing capability, and the AUTOSAR-based software architecture. As a result, the radar helps better meet the customer needs for customized code integration.

Automotive-compatible products

77GHz Corner Radar

The Chuhang Technology “automotive-compatible platform” developed 77GHz millimeter wave radar has a horizontal detection angle of FOV±75° and detection range of 120m. It supports Ethernet and CAN interfaces and HMI hardwire alarming, and can achieve ADAS functions such as lane change warning (LCW), door open warning (DOW), and rear cross traffic alert (RCTA).

Application scenarios

BSD

Blind Spot Detection (BSD) is an L0 function in autonomous driving. It is designed to assist the driver in monitoring the traffic in the side rear blind spot area of the vehicle on the highway.

When a target vehicle is detected in the side rear area of the subject vehicle, the first-level alarm will be triggered on the human-machine interface (LED indicator on the rearview mirror, driver’s monitor screen). When a target vehicle is detected in the side rear area of the subject vehicle, and the driver gives a steering command to the same side, the second-level alarm will be triggered on the human-machine interface (LED indicator on the rearview mirror, driver’s monitor screen). When the target vehicle drives away from or overtakes the subject vehicle, the alarm will be cleared.

  • Speed range:15km/h-150km/h
  • Coverage of two lanes on both sides
  • Rear blind spot detection range≤10m
  • Correct warning rate>99%

Lane Change Warning (LCW)

Lane Change Warning (LCW) is an L0 function in autonomous driving. It is designed to assist the driver in monitoring the traffic in the side rear blind spot area of the vehicle on the highway.

When a target vehicle is overtaking the subject vehicle from its side rear area, the first-level alarm will be triggered on the human-machine interface (LED indicator on the rearview mirror, driver’s monitor screen). When a target vehicle is detected in the side rear area of subject vehicle, and the driver gives a steering command to the same side, the second-level alarm will be triggered on the human-machine interface (LED indicator on the rearview mirror, driver’s monitor screen). When the target vehicle drives away from the adjacent lane or overtakes the subject vehicle, the alarm will be cleared.

  • Speed range:15km/h-150km/h
  • Coverage of adjacent lanes on both sides
  • Rear blind spot monitoring range ≥120m
  • Correct warning rate > 99%

Door Open Warning (DOW)

Door Open Warning (DOW) is an L0 function in autonomous driving. It is designed to assist the driver in monitoring the vehicles approaching from the rear to prevent collision when the driver opens the door after parking.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)

Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) is an L0 function in autonomous driving. It is designed to assist the driver in monitoring the vehicles approaching from the rear when the driver is backing up.

When the subject vehicle is reversing, and a target vehicle is approaching from the rear, the alarm will be triggered on the human-machine interface (LED indicator on the rearview mirror, driver’s monitor screen). When the target vehicle drives away from rear area of the subject vehicle, the alarm will be cleared.
